FactEntry - Corporate Action Lead - Fixed Income (5-7 yrs)

- FactEntry is looking for an experienced Fixed Income Corporate Action Lead to oversee and manage corporate actions related to bonds and issuers.

- The role requires expertise in bond maintenance, credit ratings, and financial markets while ensuring accurate and timely data processing.

- The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of fixed income instruments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage bond maintenance for various bond types, including fixed, floating, zero coupon, convertibles, commercial papers (CP), certificates of deposit (CDs), and government bonds across India and Bangladesh.

- Ensure accurate capture and processing of corporate actions for bonds, such as redemptions, re-opens, repurchases, and rate resets.

- Manage the capture and processing of corporate actions for issuers, including:

- Mergers and acquisitions

- Name changes and amalgamations

- Stock sale purchases

- Issuer hierarchy updates

- Bankruptcies and liquidations

- Business classifications and spinoffs

- Listings and regulatory changes

- Maintain and update issuer information in financial databases and internal systems.

- Oversee and ensure accurate updating of bond and issuer credit ratings for the Indian market.

- Lead and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring timely completion of corporate action tasks with high accuracy.

- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce processing errors.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address corporate action inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely updates.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

- 5+ years of experience in fixed income corporate actions, bond maintenance, or a related role.

- Strong knowledge of financial markets, fixed income instruments, and corporate actions.

- Hands-on experience with bond maintenance processes across multiple bond types.

- Expertise in capturing and processing corporate actions for both bonds and issuers.

- Experience in maintaining and updating issuer credit ratings.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial processing.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in financial databases and tools used for corporate action processing.

- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
