Job Description

As an Assistant Manager at Exponentia.ai, you will be vital in maintaining the company s financial health. Your responsibilities include accurately recording sales invoices, expenses, and taxes, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements MIS, and ensuring tax compliance. Your analytical skills will aid in preparing aging reports and account reconciliations. Additionally, your proficiency in accounting software and communication skills will enable effective coordination with bankers, stakeholders, and team members.

Job Responsibilities:

Accurately verify sales invoices, ensuring all related time, efforts, and milestones are documented.
Verify all company expenses, including salary, reimbursement, IT-related, and administrative expenses.
Record month end year end JVs, accruals and amortisations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure financial accuracy.
Prepare aging reports to track outstanding receivables and payables, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
Maintain effective communication and relationships with bankers and other key stakeholders.
Reconcile Goods and Services Tax (GST) accounts and ensure compliance with GST regulations.
Reconcile Provident Fund (PF) and Professional Tax (PT) accounts.
Process timely payments for PF and PT.
Prepare profit and loss accounts and balance sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho and QuickBooks.
Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis, reporting MIS.

Technical Skills:

5 - 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho and QuickBooks.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
