Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in software development project management, particularly within Microsoft .NET environments. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile methodologies, proficiency in Jira for project tracking, and excellent leadership skills to run sprints and manage the SDLC process effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • SDLC Management: Oversee and manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Sprint Planning and Execution: Organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Project Monitoring: Utilize Jira to monitor project progress, manage backlogs, and ensure transparency with all stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, QA testers, and designers, to achieve project objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance project management processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication channels using Microsoft Teams, ensuring all team members and stakeholders are informed.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
  • Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources and manage team workloads to optimize performance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in software development, preferably within a Microsoft .NET environment.
  • Certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • Agile Expertise: Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
  • Tools Proficiency:
    • Jira: Expertise in using Jira for project tracking, sprint management, and issue resolution.
    • Microsoft Teams: Proficient in using Teams for communication and collaboration.
    • Familiarity with other project management tools like Trello or Asana is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Understanding of Microsoft .NET technologies to effectively communicate with the development team.
    • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and common development practices.
  • Leadership Skills:
    • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
    • Strong decision-making capabilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality results.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Certifications:
    • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
    • Professional Scrum Master (PSM I)
  • Experience with DevOps:
    • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Industry Experience:
    • Previous experience in the digital marketing or SaaS industry.
  • Quality Assurance Knowledge:
    • Understanding of QA processes and experience collaborating with QA teams.
  • Risk and Change Management:
    • Experience in managing project risks and implementing change control processes.
