Executive - Motor OD Claims

Responsibilities: (Role - Team Member - System Development)

• Develop comprehensive test plans for the motor claims application, considering both functional and non-functional aspects.
• Execute test plans and verify the applications performance, usability, and reliability.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and provide valuable feedback to enhance system development quality.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to identify, address, and rectify defects in the motor claims application.
• Proactively resolve issues during testing or production, ensuring effective prioritization and tracking of problem resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into testing processes.
• Coordinate with the IT department to facilitate call development and provide necessary system support.
• Register IT calls, including NR/CR/Bug/MIS, through the ITHD interface, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Write detailed process notes and create functional test cases/scenarios for new developments, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Keep stakeholders informed about the progress of call development and system enhancements, addressing any concerns or queries.
• Regularly evaluate the motor claims application against defined requirements to ensure compliance and high-quality performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar IT coordination or testing role, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Experience with testing complex applications.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of MIS and advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of claim processes, operations, underwriting, and other insurance company processes is an advantage.
