Accounts Executive Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Maintenance:

- Maintain and manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accurate recording of all financial data in Tally Prime.

- Prepare and update financial statements, ledgers, and journals in compliance with accounting

standards.

2. GST Compliance:

- Calculate and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and within deadlines.

- Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including input tax credit reconciliation and maintaining proper documentation.

3. TDS Management:

- Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable rates, ensuring timely deposits to the government.

- Prepare and file TDS returns (Form 26Q, Form 27Q, etc.) and ensure correctness of data.

4. Financial Reporting:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis.

- Generate GST and TDS-related reports from Tally to assist in management decision-making.

5. Reconciliation:

- Perform reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliation, vendor, and customer accounts.

- Reconcile GST and TDS liabilities with the corresponding returns and ensure that any discrepancies are addressed promptly.

6. Audit Support:

- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to GST and TDS.

- Prepare audit schedules and support documentation as required.

Qualifications:

Education

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as CA (Inter), CMA, or similar qualifications are a plus.

Experience:

- 2-4 years of experience in accounting roles with a strong focus on GST and TDS compliance.

- Experience using Tally for accounting and financial management.

Skills:

- Proficiency in Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong understanding of GST and TDS regulations.

- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
