Job Description
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
- Assistance with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and legal requirements.
- Assist in the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure smooth financial transactions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
Requirements- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar accounting role.
- Prior experience in the Logistics industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with GST and other relevant taxation aspects is advantageous.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
