Job Description
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Origami platform implementations.
- Configure and customize the Origami platform to align with business needs and specific client requirements.
- Work closely with business users to understand their insurance processes and provide functional solutions using Origami.
- Design and map business processes to the Origami platform, ensuring that the solution streamlines operations and improves efficiency.
- Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and Origami platform functionality, and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a solution that meets client requirements.
- Create detailed functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, and system requirements for Origami platform projects.
- Lead and facilitate workshops with business users to gather requirements and clarify project goals.
- Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and ensure that the platform functions according to client specifications.
- Ensure successful integration between the Origami platform and other systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless operation.
- Prepare user documentation, user training materials, and provide training to end-users on Origami.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the implementation phase or post-deployment.
- Stay current with new features and capabilities of the Origami platform and provide best practice recommendations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and provide updates on project status and deliverables.
Requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, with hands-on experience working with the Origami platform.
- Strong understanding of Origami platform configuration and customization, including its features and workflows.
- Familiarity with insurance industry processes such as policy administration, underwriting, claims management, and billing.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, preparing functional specifications, and creating process flow diagrams.
- Ability to translate complex business processes into platform configurations.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and how to apply them in the context of functional analysis.
- Familiarity with other insurance platforms or core systems such as Guidewire, Salesforce, or similar.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and deployment strategies for platforms like Origami.
- Experience in data migration and understanding of insurance-specific data models.
- Bachelordegree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
