Junior Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
• Develop ideas keeping in mind the needs, buildings usage and environmental impact
• Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections
• Compile project specifications within budgets and timelines
• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
• Regular site visits to check on project status and report on project
• Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals
• Follow architectural trends and advancements.
• Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) systems.
• Communicating with architects and engineers, incorporating their knowledge into drawings.
• Collaborating with the engineering team for preparation, review, and redrafting.
• Ensuring final designs adhere to building regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment to share opinions with appropriate personnel
• Ability to seek and obtain information clarification and feedback about drawings and to discuss project challenges with appropriate departments
• Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills to ensure drawing specifications
• Ability to learn about technological advances from daily work activities, training offered by companies, and other educational/visual aids.

Preferred candidate profile

• B. Arch from a reputed institute with good academic performance.
• Proven experience in real estate project management specifically with High rise residential buildings.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in handling multiple projects in the real estate industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven working experience as an Architect
• Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills
• Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software
• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
• Working knowledge in AutoCAD/Revit/ SketchUp software.
