Open Position : Head of Engineering.

Must-Have : Python, Django ORM, React.js/Vue.js, JavaScript, CSS, Node.js, HTML5, Postgres, Data Design, socket programming, REST API.

- We are looking to hire an empathetic, creative, and ambitious Head of Engineering to join our growing team and build the next platform leader.

- This role requires working from the Chennai Office.

About the role :

- You will be responsible for building a world-class engineering team, including its culture, and driving the development of software that will revolutionize the construction management space.

- You will also be exposed to all aspects of the company, and be a part of the company leadership.

- Your team will be building the platform both for desktop and mobile web using technologies like vue.js, Nuxt.js, Django/ORM, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Linux, and others.

What you'll do :

- Build our engineering team recruit talent, mentor, build processes and culture.

- Be both a technical leader and a people manager.

- Set clear expectations and context to create a positive work environment based on accountability and ownership.

- Work closely with our product, designers, and developers to execute our roadmap.

- Continuously develop our product architecture.

- Develop innovative features all the way from UI to database.

Your profile :

- Experienced engineering leader having worked in startup & product companies.

- Strong proven technical skills and a passion for developing applications from scratch.

- Natural ownership abilities and entrepreneurial qualities.

- Experience working with product and UX/UI designers to create great user experiences.

- Problem-solving you have the ability to break down complex problems into actionable tasks.

- Communication you have the ability to convey a message in a structured, purposeful way.

- You are a natural leader, team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- 8+ years of experience across the engineering spectrum from development to release.

- 2+ years of experience in startup with delivery responsibility.

- Delivered multiple releases of products to production.

- Experience with releasing software for multiple devices, browsers, and operating systems.
