Account Director - Social Media Management

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Account Director to lead the social media strategy and execution for a high-profile brand. As the Account Director, you will oversee a dedicated team, ensuring the delivery of innovative, impactful, and data-driven social media campaigns that align with the brand's vision and objectives. This role demands a mix of creative, strategic, and operational expertise, coupled with strong leadership and client management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Strategy & Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering a strong partnership and ensuring alignment on objectives and expectations.
• Develop and present strategic social media plans that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
• Translate the brands vision into innovative and measurable social media campaigns.
• Proactively identify opportunities to add value and solve challenges for the client.

- Campaign Planning & Execution

• Lead the development and execution of multi-platform social media strategies.
• Ensure the seamless execution of campaigns, from concept to delivery, across channels like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Oversee content creation, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment with the brand voice.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver campaigns on time and within scope.

- Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing social media team, including content creators, strategists, and analysts.
• Foster collaboration between internal teams, including creative, analytics, and media planning, to achieve campaign objectives.
• Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to the team to drive exceptional outcomes.

- Performance Measurement & Reporting

• Monitor and analyze campaign performance, using data to refine strategies and optimize results.
• Present detailed reports to the client, showcasing insights, ROI, and recommendations for future initiatives.
• Stay updated on social media trends, technologies, and best practices to keep the brand at the forefront of innovation.

- Account Growth & Upselling

• Identify opportunities to upsell additional services to existing clients, contributing to revenue growth.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow client accounts, expanding the scope of services and driving client success.

- Brand Stewardship

• Ensure all social media efforts are consistent with the brands tone, messaging, and values.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the brands market, target audience, and competitors.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in social media management, marketing, or advertising, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience managing large-scale campaigns for big brands is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar platforms) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, native platform insights, etc.).
• Creativity & Vision: Strong ability to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
• Leadership: Proven experience managing teams and fostering growth.
