DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (11-13 yrs)

About the Job :

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive our software delivery process. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining our infrastructure and application deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Infrastructure as Code :

- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code solutions using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.

- Ensure consistent and repeatable deployments across environments.

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):

- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.

- Automate testing, code quality checks, and deployment processes.

- Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for CI/CD.

Cloud Infrastructure Management :

- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.

- Implement and maintain cloud governance policies.

Containerization and Orchestration :

- Leverage Docker to containerize applications and deploy them using Kubernetes or other orchestration tools.

- Manage container clusters and ensure high availability and scalability.

DevOps Toolchain Management :

- Evaluate, select, and implement DevOps tools and technologies.

- Maintain and improve the DevOps toolchain to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Troubleshooting and Support :

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Provide support to development teams and other stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 10+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field.

- Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Boards.

- In-depth knowledge of Jenkins and experience with pipeline scripting (Jenkinsfile) and plugin management.

- Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub, including actions, workflows, and security best practices.

- Expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.

- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong scripting skills (i.e., PowerShell, Bash, Python).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (i.e., Azure Monitor, ELK Stack).

- Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.

- Experience with automation frameworks and tools (i.e., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

- Understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices (i.e., Agile, Lean).
