Visual Designer

Responsibilities

• Conceptual Design: Develop innovative visual concepts and design solutions for websites, marketing materials, branding, and other digital experiences, aligning with brand guidelines and user needs
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales and stakeholders to translate business objectives into compelling visual designs
• Design Systems: Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all visual elements and platforms
• Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives through visual design elements like typography, color palettes, and imagery to engage users
• Prototyping and Iteration: Create high-fidelity prototypes and iterate on designs based on feedback to optimize the user experience
• Presentation and Communication: Clearly articulate design rationale and present design concepts to stakeholders, effectively communicating design decisions

Requirements and Skills

• Expert Design Skills: Proficient in graphic design principles, typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Digital Design Proficiency: Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, and other relevant design tools
• UX Design Understanding: Knowledge of user interface (UI) design principles and user experience (UX) best practices
• Visual Storytelling: Ability to translate complex information into visually engaging narratives
• Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present design ideas clearly
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify design challenges, analyze user needs, and develop creative solutions

Relevant Experience

• 3 to 5 years extensive experience as a visual designer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions across various digital platforms
• Portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of visual design principles, user-centered design, and branding
