Job Description: Manager- Fabric Sourcing (China Sourcing)

Location: Noida (Head Office)

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Fabric Sourcing Manager to join our team, focusing on sourcing high-quality fabrics from suppliers in China. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the apparel industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Research & Selection:
• Identify and evaluate potential fabric suppliers in India and Chine.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
• Negotiation & Procurement:
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Place purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Quality Control:
• Assess and approve fabric samples to ensure they meet company standards.
• Work with suppliers to resolve any quality issues that arise.
• Logistics Coordination:
• Coordinate shipping and logistics to ensure efficient delivery of fabrics.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to meet production needs.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to align fabric sourcing with product requirements.
• Provide regular updates to management on sourcing strategies and supplier performance.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of all sourcing activities and supplier communications.
• Prepare reports on market trends, cost analysis, and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fabric sourcing in the apparel industry
• Strong knowledge of woven fabrics.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with supply chain management and logistics.
