Position: Group Leader Product Management
JOB PROFILE:
1. Monitor and review sales growth in pilot areas to identify trends, optimize strategies, and
support decision-making for broader market rollouts.
2. Implement rapid product refresh strategies to ensure that products remain competitive
and up-to-date by frequently updating features, design, or packaging based on market
demands and customer feedback.
3. Conduct and plan comprehensive market surveys and analysis to gather relevant
information on customer preferences, market needs, and emerging trends, supporting
strategic planning.
4. Develop effective product positioning strategies: establish product positioning in the
market by identifying unique value propositions and target demographics, ensuring
products align with brand identity and stand out from competitors.
5. Provide product training to the sales team.
6. Coordinate cross-functional team (CFT) efforts for working collaboratively with
departments such as marketing, sales, product development, and operations to ensure
alignment on product strategy and execution.
7. Lead new product launches and ensure sales growth: drive the planning and execution of
new product launches, taking accountability for meeting sales growth targets through
effective launch strategies and continuous sales support.
8. Conduct product benchmarking and competitive analysis: regularly assess and compare
products with competitors to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats,
guiding strategic product improvements.
9. Demonstrate innovative thinking to drive business objectives: approach challenges with
creativity, developing new ideas and solutions that contribute to product development,
marketing strategies, and overall business growth.
10. Exhibit experience in business development which contributes to the expansion of the
company market presence and customer base.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
1. Experience 5 to 7 yrs.
2. Education- BE (Mechanical / Production) / MBA/DBM.
3. Proven Expertise in business development /Product management.
4. Possess mandatory exposure to sales, marketing and customer interactions.
5. Good Project Management Skills.
6. Age not more than 30 years.
7. Customer interaction experience.
8. CFT, sales and marketing coordination experience.
9. Willing to travel 10-12 days in a month.
