Principal Associate

POSITION TITLE: Principal Associate - IT / Solarwinds Admin

WORKING LOCATION : Bangalore, India

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Experience:

• Overall 5 to 8 years of experience in SolarWinds monitoring tools administration and System administration in an enterprise level company.
• Should have worked in SolarWinds Orion modules like NPM, SAM, NCM, WPM, VMAN, SRM and APEs.
• Should have strong knowledge on Windows WMI monitoring concepts.
• Working knowledge on SQL, Powershell, Shell scripting.
• Should have strong knowledge on distributed monitoring setup using SolarWinds.
• Good understanding on Windows/Linux systems and application environment.
• Should have worked in ITIL process-based environment.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and topologies.
• Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
• Must be a quick learner.

Technology skills:

Mandatory

• SolarWinds Orion monitoring tools administration.
• Powershell scripting.
• Good knowledge on ITIL v3 Incident/Problem and Change management process.

Preferred

• Good to have work experience on Site24x7.
• Good to have knowledge on Windows, Linux System administration skills.
• Knowledge on AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Knowledge on ServiceNow ITSM Integration.

Personal Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English and the working country language.
• Working experience in an enterprise grade company with IT teams spread over the globe.
• Experience in managing a team of 3-5 persons or willing to take the management of such team as next step in his career.
• Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

PREFERED CANDIDATES:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team in Europe and Costa Rica and internal customers globally.
