Trainer - SQL

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced SQL Trainer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SQL and database management systems, along with a passion for teaching and mentoring individuals.
• As an SQL Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs that cover fundamental to advanced SQL concepts, ensuring learners gain a strong understanding of database management and SQL queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training sessions on SQL and database fundamentals, tailored to the needs of learners at different levels.
• Cover a wide range of SQL topics including SQL syntax, SQL commands (DDL, DQL, DML, DCL, TCL), conditional filters, joins, aggregate functions, group by clauses, subqueries, and Common Table Expressions (CTE).
• Teach data filtering and sorting techniques, and provide knowledge on stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Guide learners on SQL query performance tuning to optimize database operations.
• Create engaging and interactive learning materials such as presentations, practical exercises, and case studies.
• Assess and monitor learner progress through quizzes, assignments, and hands-on projects.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help learners achieve their learning objectives.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in SQL and database technologies to incorporate relevant updates into the training programs.
• Collaborate with other trainers and stakeholders to enhance the training curriculum and ensure a cohesive learning experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SQL Trainer or a similar role in training or education.
• Strong expertise in SQL, database fundamentals, and related technologies.
• Experience with various SQL commands and operations, including DDL, DQL, DML, DCL, and TCL.
• Familiarity with different types of joins, aggregate functions, and performance tuning techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
• Ability to create and deliver training materials that cater to different learning styles.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in helping learners succeed.
• [Preferred] Certifications in SQL or related database technologies.

Years of experience:

• 8+ in training within the same domain.
• Should have experience in SQL advance training.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in Big 4, Fintech or financial captive units.
