Position Title: Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager University Experience.
Industry Department: Human Resources.
Location: Kothrud, Pune.
Reports to: Associate HR Director.

Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Lead and define recruitment strategies to meet the evolving talent needs of the organization, focusing on both short-term and long-term goals.
- Develop and implement scalable processes to attract top-tier candidates for both technical and non-technical roles within the EdTech domain.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand organizational objectives and talent requirements.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and mentor a team of recruiters, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative team culture that is results-driven, client-focused, and grounded in best practices.
- Monitor the performance of the recruitment team, setting and tracking KPIs to ensure timely and quality hires.
Recruitment & Selection:
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and evaluating candidates for roles across the organization.
- Leverage a variety of sourcing strategies, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals, to identify high-quality candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and industry partners.
- Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to ensure alignment with company values, culture, and job requirements.
Employer Branding:
- Work closely with the marketing team to build and promote the company's employer brand, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience.
- Represent the company at career fairs, industry events, and other networking opportunities.
- Create and manage content related to recruiting, company culture, and employee success stories for use on social media and other platforms.
Diversity & Inclusion:
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the recruitment process, ensuring diverse talent pools and equitable hiring practices.
- Develop strategies to attract underrepresented groups and create a more inclusive work environment.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Use data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Prepare regular recruitment reports and updates for senior leadership, highlighting key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality.
- Stay informed of industry trends and benchmarks to continuously improve TA processes.
Talent Pipeline Development:
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, particularly in high-demand areas such as product development, data science, and instructional design.
- Implement proactive talent sourcing strategies to ensure the organization is equipped to quickly meet hiring demands.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive experience in recruiting for the EdTech, technology, or education sectors is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing high-volume hiring while maintaining quality and cultural fit.
- Experience leading and mentoring a team of recruiters, with a focus on developing talent and building high-performing teams.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of recruiting best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to engage with senior leadership and understand business needs.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Workday).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Passion for innovation and staying current with industry trends in talent acquisition.
