About the Job :

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Check Point Firewall Engineer to join our team.

You will play a key role in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Check Point Firewall solutions, ensuring our network operations remain secure, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Firewall Management : Configure, monitor, and maintain Check Point Firewall infrastructure, including rule base management, VPN setup, and high availability configurations.

- Security Policies : Develop and enforce robust network security policies to align with organizational and regulatory standards.

- Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve firewall-related issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.

- Upgrades & Patches : Perform timely upgrades, patches, and updates to address vulnerabilities and enhance system reliability.

- System Integration : Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Check Point solutions with existing systems and third-party tools.

- Monitoring : Utilize monitoring tools to analyze network traffic, detect potential threats, and ensure network integrity.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed records of configurations, processes, and network architecture.

- Training & Support : Mentor junior team members and act as a point of escalation for complex firewall-related issues.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience with Check Point Firewall products, including SmartConsole, R80+, and related technologies.

- 2-6 years of experience in cybersecurity and network security roles.

- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and security frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists.

- Relevant certifications such as CCSE (Check Point Certified Security Expert) or CCSA (Check Point Certified Security Administrator) are highly preferred.

- Familiarity with other security tools and technologies is an added advantage.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
