Job Summary

Essar Capital is seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant (EA) to provide high-level support to the Senior Management overseeing the energy vertical. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on commercial strategy, market analysis, and project management related to energy operations. This role demands a keen understanding of industry dynamics, regulatory considerations, and commercial frameworks essential to the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Project Management: Lead and coordinate energy sector projects, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Facilitate cross-functional communication to drive seamless execution.

- Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct research on energy market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies. Provide strategic insights to Senior Management, with a focus on market positioning and competitive analysis.

- Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders , both internal and external, to support strategic initiatives and drive project outcomes.

- Commercial & Financial Analysis: Support commercial decision-making by analyzing financial metrics, revenue opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives within the energy vertical. Prepare business cases and financial models to evaluate potential investments or strategic initiatives.

- Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Monitor regulatory requirements and changes in energy sector policies, providing timely updates to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.

- Data-Driven Reporting: Prepare clear, insightful reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable insights. Track KPIs to inform decision-making and project outcomes.

- Confidentiality & Professionalism: Manage sensitive information related to commercial strategies and business plans with discretion, maintaining a high level of professionalism.

- Adaptability & Initiative: Proactively engage in various assignments and projects related to the energy sector, taking on responsibilities outside of the core skill set as needed.

Required Competencies

- Energy Sector Expertise: In-depth understanding of energy industry dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and market trends.

- Commercial Acumen: Strong ability to interpret financial data, analyze revenue and cost impacts, and support strategic commercial decisions.

- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in research and analysis, with the ability to synthesize complex industry information and data.

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing impactful presentations and reports tailored to energy sector contexts.

Qualifications & Experience

- Educational Background: MBA from a top-tier B-school with a focus on Finance, Energy, or a related field.

- Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in the energy sector, ideally with exposure to commercial operations and strategic initiatives.

- Location Flexibility: Based in Noida, with willingness to travel as needed.
