Senior Cloud Backend Developer

Alcor Solutions is looking to hire a talented and highly skilled Senior Cloud Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable backend systems on cloud platforms, with a strong focus on Azure. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Python, expertise in cloud technologies, and a passion for building secure, high-performance backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and systems on cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable, reliable, and secure backend architectures.
• Work with RESTful APIs and integrate backend systems with frontend technologies like Angular and React.js.
• Lead the development of microservices-based architectures, ensuring seamless frontend-backend integration.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, leveraging containerization and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Work with Azure Cloud services, including the integration of Python functions and Lambda functions.
• Implement modern authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as JWT (JSON Web Tokens).
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance backend performance for scalability and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure code quality by adhering to Python best practices and code conventions, including utilizing popular frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from inception to production deployment.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proficient in Python with a strong understanding of Python libraries and coding conventions.
• Expertise in Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF), Flask, and FastAPI.
• Solid experience with RESTful APIs and integrating them with modern frontend frameworks like Angular, React.js, or Vue.js.
• Thorough understanding of microservices architecture and backend development principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and integrating Python services with Azure Lambda functions.
• Strong familiarity with modern security practices and JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for authentication.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Understanding of modern build pipelines and tools, such as Git, Terraform, and version control systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear, efficient, and scalable technical specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Security, Identity, or Access Management products or services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services in addition to Azure.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern build tools.
• Proven experience leading projects from ideation to production deployment.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
