Role & responsibilities

• Responsibilities Developing a territory and route plan
• Identifying and categorising customers (dealers/distributors) and making a plan with frequency of service
• Negotiation & entering into the agreement on terms and condition of sales with the customers
• Developing new business and managing existing clients
• Calling the dealer and stock checking in the dealer's outlet
• Partner with Merchandise Manager to drive sales through department store & to guide shop's floor personnel to bring sales
• ●Meeting company goals & targets by driving sales through the wholesale dealers, distributors & other channel partners
• ●Timely payment collection and Regular payment follow ups
• ●Organizing/participating in fairs/exhibitions
• ●Ensure all customer queries & complaints are answered as per the agreed service timelines. Co-ordinate internally among all the stake holders to ensure customer requirements are taken care of
• ●Initiate strategies to bring brand awareness among channel partners & customers
• ●Utilize regular sales reports to communicate business results, prospects, competitor activities etc..

Preferred candidate profile

This is a field level sales & marketing assignment. The candidate has to possess an in-depth knowledge about the wholesale Grocery & staple business of Kerala. The candidate should be able to develop a deep knowledge about the capacity of the channel partners including the sales capacity, credit worthiness, experience, geographical coverage etc
