Sr. Data Engineer

As a Sr. Data Engineer, your role involves developing data models and data pipelines. Youll work closely with a diverse group of internal stakeholders and external customers, providing solutions that amplify their competitive stance.

What you will do:

• Lead the design and development of data architecture, data models and data pipelines.
• Design and develop data pipelines.
• Define, develop, and review ELT/ELT processes
• Partner with Data Analysts to understand business processes and identify opportunities to build scalable and efficient data models that can be used for scalable, refreshable analysis and reporting
• Ensure alignment to coding standard methodologies and development of reusable code
• Collaborate with data platform and infrastructure teams to architect and integrate high-quality, resilient data feeds from across the organization.

The skills you bring:

• Over 10 years of professional expertise as a Data Engineer, specializing in building scalable data solutions.
• Experience with data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data architecture, and database design.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Scala, Python) and strong command of SQL.
• Skilled in building modern data stacks, utilizing tools such as dbt, Informatica, Airflow, Snowflake, among others.
• Solid grasp of the data processing requirements for both real-time and batch systems, catering to transactional and analytical processing.
• Proven track record in developing ETL/ELT jobs and data pipelines, along with proficiency in job scheduling systems.
• Familiarity with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, and real-time streaming systems like Kafka, Spark, Flink, etc.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences and effectively managing stakeholders at all levels.
