Lead Data Scientist

About this opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled hands on GenAI Data Scientist / ML Specialist to develop and implement production grade cloud native AI and NLP solutions that address business objectives and enhance decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, hands-on experience with production grade generative AI, and the ability to integrate these models into scalable production systems.

What you will do:

Develop and implement AI and NLP solutions to solve complex business challenges and improve decision-making.

Design and build scalable machine learning models and applications using Python, Spark, NoSQL databases, and other relevant technologies.

Leverage Generative AI techniques to create innovative solutions such as chatbots, automated document generation, and workflow optimization for production-grade use cases.

Conduct comprehensive data analysis and exploration to derive actionable insights from large datasets and communicate findings to both internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with software engineers and data engineers to integrate AI models into production systems, ensuring scalability and optimal performance.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, NLP, Generative AI, and related fields, and apply new methodologies to enhance existing models and algorithms.

The skills you bring:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in a Data Scientist/ML Specialist or similar role.

Hands on expertise of E2E GenAI based use case/s development preferably chat bot, generation of document content, workflows, code etc.

Expertise in Python programming and experience with libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and vector databases.

Strong experience in using Spark for distributed data processing and analysis.

Demonstrated experience in developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models in production environments.

Hands-on experience with open-source Generative AI models (e.g., GPT-4, Mistral, Code-Llama, StarCoder).

Experience implementing and optimizing Haystack for question-answering systems and information retrieval.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think from first principles and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Familiarity with graph-based machine learning, ontology, and machine reasoning.
