Hiring Fresher Medical Coder

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to join our team. This entry level role is ideal for recent CPC-certified individuals looking to begin their career in medical coding.

• Accurate Coding: Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to medical procedures, diagnoses, and services.) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes
• Documentation Review: Examine medical records and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of coding
• Compliance: Adhere to all coding and documentation guidelines and standards, including those set by HIPAA and other regulatory bodies.
• Claims Processing: Work closely with RCM/Billing teams to clarify documentation, resolve codingrelated issues, and ensure accurate code assignment
• Quality Assurance: Participate in regular audits and quality assurance activities to maintain high coding accuracy
• Communication: Collaborate with healthcare staff to clarify diagnoses, procedures, and other necessary information for accurate coding.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated with changes in coding standards, guidelines, and regulations through ongoing training and professional development

Qualification

• Certification: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required.
