Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive patching strategy across all supported technologies, including Windows, ESXi, Linux, Unix, Network, Middleware, OCP, Desktop, etc.
- Conduct thorough CVE assessments to identify and prioritize vulnerabilities.
- Define and maintain patching baselines and operational frameworks to ensure consistent and timely patching across all environments.
- Oversee the entire patching lifecycle, from vulnerability identification and risk assessment to patch testing, deployment, and post-deployment monitoring.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 30+ technical professionals.
- Set clear goals, objectives, and performance expectations for team members.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Proactively identify and address potential issues and risks.
- Present technical information and project updates to senior management.
- Define and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) for all technical operations.
- Generate regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics, incident reports, and trend analysis.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience with at least two or more of the following technologies : Windows, ESXi, Linux, Unix, Network, Middleware, OCP, Desktop.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes and procedures.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a technical operations management role.
- Proven experience in leading and managing large teams.
- Strong understanding of patching methodologies, vulnerability management, and risk assessment.
- Experience with a variety of technologies, including but not limited to: Windows, ESXi, Linux, Unix, Network, Middleware, OCP, Desktop.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and best practices (desired).
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (desired)
