The Senior People Relations Advisor role is critical to ensure Ivy continues to be a great place to work. It s about so much more than managing conduct or poor performance. You ll take a proactive approach to improving colleague experience and where issues do arise, you ll ensure that a fair and reasonable approach is followed at all times with informal resolution at the heart of everything you do.
This role is critical to the internal working of the people relations function. You ll be responsible for ensuring that your team feel supported and have all the tools to perform their role to the best of their ability. You ll be the bridge between the day-to-day work and the strategic direction of the team, informing key areas for improvement.
Facilitating employee relations and resolving any grievances as required with the aim of building a positive and engaged work environment. Use employee relations knowledge to coordinate complex processes and deliver human resource services, which include conducting investigations, corrective actions, conflict resolution, involuntary exit management, statutory compliance, and monitoring reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to person in the business (both inside and outside of People Relations) for all Indian employment law matters.
Support direct report through coaching, on all day-to-day and escalated employee relations matters;
Overall responsibility for quarterly management information packs;
Coach develop the advisor population through management of Quality Assurance framework;
Ensure the leadership team are aware of any, and all, issues facing the advisors;
Proactively identify areas of improvement and propose solutions;
Manage, together with advisor/team leader, all POSH cases;
Lead on complex employee relations matters e.g. grievances, whistleblowing and exits and keeping team leaders informed.
Support and on occasion lead on complex restructure programmes e.g. large-scale redundancies,
Work with the team leaders and team manager to ensure strategic objectives of the global function are being met;
Responsible for updating business on L1-3 live cases and all current POSH matters;
Responsible for the team s training calendar;
Work with legal resources and consultants to ensure employee relations activities adhere to company policy and statutory requirements.
Education: Postgraduate in Business Management with specialization in HR, preferably with Law Degree.
