Job Purpose :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Data Engineer to design and build data warehouses and data lakes, develop frameworks for data pipelines, and lead a team to successful project delivery.

- The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, data engineering, and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities :

- A minimum of 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Data Modeling.

- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.

- 2+ years of experience in leading data engineering teams.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PySpark, SQL, and Pandas.

- Extensive experience in building data lakes and data modeling.

- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and hands-on experience in implementing data warehouses.

- Expertise in the Spark ecosystem, with experience in both real-time and batch processing.

- Practical experience with AWS services, including but not limited to Glue, EMR, DMS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Airflow, RDS, and Aurora.

- Familiarity with modern database systems such as Redshift and Snowflake.

- Experience in building data lakes using S3 or Apache Hudi.

- Preferred experience with Kafka or Kinesis for data streaming.

- AWS Developer Associate or Solutions Architect Associate Certification is a plus.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
