Engro Technologies - Data Engineer - SAS Viya 3.5 (3-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data Engineering and data architecture, and will be responsible for designing and implementing ETLs data models that support our business objectives. You will work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and database administrators and Data Science team members to ensure data consistency, quality, and Data reliability across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience in SAS Viya 3.5 for data engineering.

- Proficiency in using SAS Data Integration (DI) or SAS Data preparation or SAS Data Engineering, SAS Studio, Job Scheduling the jobs for data extraction, transformation, and integration, all aspects of Data Engineering

- Should be able to suggest Data Modelling and schema making

Good to have knowledge in :

- Integration knowledge with Cloudera - Hive, Impala or Vertica or any other Data warehouse

- SAS ESP (Event Stream Processing) for real-time data processing.

- SAS Visual Investigator (VI) for investigation workflows.

- SAS Visual Analytics (VA) for data visualization.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize data models for performance and scalability.

- Knowledge of SQL and database scripting.

- Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices.

- Understanding of data integration tools and ETL processes.
