Delivery Manager - Engineering

Responsibilities This position is for UI / Front-end development team Lead the delivery management for UI development team. Drive discovery and solutioning for web applications that involves leading conversation with Product, Architecture and Development teams in implementing next generation of product features. Extensive experience in managing teams by defining roadmap, planning, mentoring, and driving the team goals successfully. Demonstrate core engineering mindset on quality, CI/CD, development, testing and maintaining the application/s with established processes. Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders, manage stakeholders expectation and align it to project goals. Ensure clear communication of project status, risks and issues at multiple levels and forums. Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes and methodologies. Allocate and manage resources effectively to meet project requirements. Mentor and support the professional development of team members. Maintain comprehensive project documentation. Generate regular status reports for stakeholders and senior management. Reporting and representing the team / project in multiple forums. Get actively involved in Training, self-development & knowledge sharing. Review design artifacts and code developed by junior team members. Develop expertise / SME on multiple applications/functionality Provide Support for Systems developed and maintained and provide support to resolve complex system problems. Qualifications Mandatory Skills: Core Java, J2EE. Extensive experience in applying design patterns and driving discovery for complex application development. Expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, XSLT and related frontend technologies. Extensive experience in any of scripting languages such as react, node js, next js. Extensive experience in solutioning and application design. Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. Extensive experience with the frameworks such as JSF/Struts/Spring. Experience with markup languages (like XML/JSON) Proven experience in solving complex design and application problems. Extensive experience in AWS. Thorough understanding of Versioning tools & Branching strategies (GIT, BigBucket, SVN etc.), Hands on knowledge of CI & Build tools like Jenkins, Maven Knowledge of common industry Standards for building and writing code. Database Concepts & SQL (using RDBMS like DB2/oracle) Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and its related tools like Jira. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experienced in playing Scrum Master or a shadow Scrum Master following Agile methodology/ceremonies.
