About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites for our diverse clientele. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and translate them into exceptional online experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, discuss design concepts, and understand project goals.
• Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites.
• Implement custom WordPress themes and plugins using best practices.
• Ensure website functionality, performance, and security across all devices and browsers.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress websites.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for live websites.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security updates.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and workflows.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• In-depth knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including jQuery), and related frameworks.
• Experience with PHP and WordPress core functionalities (including the loop, custom post types, and taxonomies).
• Strong understanding of database management systems (e.g., MySQL).
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
• A passion for creating high-quality, user-centered digital experiences.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with headless WordPress.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques (e.g., image optimization, caching).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
