SQL Engineer - ETL/Data Pipeline (4-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.

- Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries to improve query performance.

- Create and maintain data pipelines to automate data ingestion and processing.

- Design and develop insightful reports to provide actionable insights.

- Utilize SQL to generate custom reports tailored to specific business needs.

- Automate report generation processes to streamline workflows.

- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.

- Implement database optimization techniques to improve query performance.

- Collaborate with database administrators to ensure optimal database health.

- Actively participate in project planning, design, and implementation phases.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data-driven applications.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Deep understanding of SQL concepts, including data manipulation, aggregation, and joins.

- Experience with SQL query optimization techniques.

- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to extract meaningful insights.

- Excellent working knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.

- Knowledge of AWS services, such as Redshift, RDS, or S3.

- Familiarity with API concepts and experience using tools like Postman.

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

- Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Jira and Git.
