Director Strategy - Fintech / Payments

As the Strategy Director, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision of the company driving growth, and enhancing our competitive position in the market. You will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with our long-term objectives and deliver value to our customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and refinement of overall corporate strategy, working closely with the executive team to define key priorities and initiatives.

- Conduct comprehensive market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and trend forecasting to identify opportunities and threats in the payments industry.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, ensuring alignment and accountability across the organization.

- Drive strategic planning processes, including goal setting, resource allocation, and performance tracking, to ensure effective execution of initiatives.

- Partner with product development, sales, marketing, and operations teams to identify market gaps and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs.

- Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic alliances to support growth objectives and expand Company's market presence.

- Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends, providing strategic guidance to senior leadership on implications and opportunities.

- Serve as a key advisor to the executive team, providing insights and recommendations on strategic decisions and initiatives.

- Lead and mentor a team of strategy professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Proven track record of success in strategic planning, business development, or corporate strategy roles within the payments, fintech, or related industry.

- Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including payment processing, technology platforms, regulatory landscape, and emerging trends.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop actionable insights.
