Database Tester

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ETL testing to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate database integrity and performance.
- Develop and execute Python scripts for test automation and validation.
- Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing for database applications.
- Work with Snowflake to test data pipelines and optimize query performance.
- Ensure compliance with Banking domain regulations and security standards.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and troubleshoot defects.
- Document test cases, test scripts, and defect reports in a structured manner.
- Participate in Agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.

Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Database Testing / ETL QA Testing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced level).
- Hands-on experience with Python Scripting for automation.
- Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data validation techniques.
- Previous experience in the Banking domain is mandatory.
- Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security protocols in the banking sector.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
