Process technicians identify machine faults and production rate errors and maintain the production logbooks. They report faults and breakdowns to supervisors and production engineers and are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe production area. They look for areas of production that could be improved or increased, and they ensure team members will adhere to safety measures and protocols. Process technicians need a minimum high school diploma or equivalent and a bachelor s degree
Responsibilities
Oversee inventory and distribution of equipment, raw materials, supplies and products.
Responsible for controlling the inventory, reordering supplies, and checking expiration dates.
Inspect, disassemble, sort, clean, and process reusable instrumentation and equipment.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, make process adjustments.
Maintain current training status on all applicable standard operating procedures.
Create processes and tools for data collection and consumption.
Responsible for cleanliness of the department and all processing equipment.
Unload supplies, ensuring items are not compromised and stored in the correct location according to tracking system storage locations.
Support implementation of new technology for process execution and/or analysis.
Act as incident manager and change manager. Drive root cause analysis and to avoid further recurrence of incidents
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as a process management/service management (min 3-4 years)
Proficiency in English
Excellent knowledge of MS Office
Thorough understanding of service management, stock management, supply management, resource management
