Senior Quality Analyst
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Collaborate with project managers and development teams to understand requirements and establish quality standards.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Document and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis and suggest process improvements to enhance software quality.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior quality analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies in quality assurance and testing.
- Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Proven experience in developing test strategies, executing test cases, and ensuring software quality.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques (e. g. , Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
