Job Description

Emagine Infotech is seeking a skilled Reporting Specialist - Power BI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) report development and data warehousing solutions, with strong expertise in Power BI and Snowflake. As a BI Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and implementing high-quality reporting solutions, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting Design: Develop comprehensive reporting solutions for the business using Power BI, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and actionable insights.
• Solution Design Documentation: Prepare detailed technical and solution design documents to outline the reporting approach and framework.
• Project Delivery: Manage and execute projects efficiently, ensuring delivery within the agreed timeline and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Regularly report project progress to key stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver reporting solutions aligned with strategic goals.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in developing BI reports using Power BI, showcasing proficiency in designing, developing, and optimizing dashboards and visualizations.
• Data Warehousing: 5 to 7 years of experience in developing data warehousing solutions, including ETL processes, data modeling, and data integration.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in MS-Power Automate or similar tools for process automation is a plus.
• Database Expertise: Experience in building and delivering reports on Snowflake databases, including familiarity with SQL and data transformation.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient and scalable reporting solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake or similar.
• Certifications in Power BI or related BI tools.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and best practices in BI development.
