Project Engineer - HVAC

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Project Management:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of HVAC projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.

2. Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
• Review and interpret HVAC designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards.

3. Site Supervision:

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on site.
• Address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction phase.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications. (DQ/IQ/OQ & PQ)
• Track and report on project progress, including any deviations from the plan.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.

5. Client Interaction:

• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on project status and address any client concerns.
• Ensure client satisfaction through the successful delivery of projects.

6. Cost Control:

• Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial reports.
• Ensure all expenditures are within the approved budget

7. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Required Skill Set

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in the HVAC field, preferably in a contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices.
• Basic in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software are preferred.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
