Project Engineer - HVAC

Job Description / Responsibilities

1. Project Management:

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of HVAC projects, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project goals are met.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.

2. Technical Support:

Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.

Review and interpret HVAC designs, drawings, and specifications.

Ensure compliance with industry standards.

3. Site Supervision:

Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.

Ensure that all safety protocols are followed on site.

Address any issues or concerns that arise during the construction phase.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications. (DQ/IQ/OQ & PQ)

Track and report on project progress, including any deviations from the plan.

Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.

5. Client Interaction:

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.

Provide regular updates on project status and address any client concerns.

Ensure client satisfaction through the successful delivery of projects.

6. Cost Control:

Monitor project costs and implement cost-saving measures where possible.

Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial reports.

Ensure all expenditures are within the approved budget

7. Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Required Skill Set

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and installation practices.
• Basic in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software are preferred.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
• Provide regular updates on project status and address any client concerns.
• Ensure client satisfaction through the successful delivery of projects.

Qualification 3-4 years of experience in the HVAC field, preferably in a contracting environment
