Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This individual will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, continuous improvement, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other teams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing Process Development and Optimization

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Develop facilities to enhance assembly line capacity and meet customer demand.
• Create process flow diagrams, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and lead process optimization initiatives using / Work study / Line balancing / Lean tools and techniques.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide technical solutions to improve efficiency and product quality.

2. Equipment/Tools/Facilities Design

• Lead the selection, installation, and testing of new equipment, tools, and facilities.
• Design and develop assembly line facilities to support process improvements.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements for equipment and tooling to increase productivity and ensure safety.

3. Quality Control and Compliance

• Work closely with the Quality team to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for product defects or process failures.
• Implement corrective actions to address non-conformities and maintain compliance.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with Product Development, Design Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure seamless product transitions from design to manufacturing.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive process improvements and resolve technical challenges.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze production data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to track process efficiency, quality metrics, and cost savings.
• Develop and maintain documentation for process changes, improvements, and projects.
• Prepare and present technical reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement and offering data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications:
For Manufacturing Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, welding, and brazing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and MS Office tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with failure analysis techniques (FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Knowledge of brazing processes.
• Familiarity with automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
