Job Title: Sales Engineer After-Market

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled After-Market Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional after-market sales support, driving customer satisfaction, and developing new business opportunities within the after-market sector. The role requires close collaboration with customers, internal teams, and dealers to ensure the successful delivery and support of after-market products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• After-Sales Support:
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product inquiries, technical support, and post-sale issues.
• Provide timely and accurate quotations, pricing, and delivery details for spare parts, upgrades, and other after-market products.
• Assist customers with product troubleshooting, repairs, and service requirements.

• Sales and Business Development:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing and potential customer bases for after-market products.
• Promote and sell after-market products such as spare parts, accessories, and extended warranties.
• Develop strong relationships with key clients to ensure continued business growth and customer retention.

• Product Knowledge and Expertise:
• Maintain a deep understanding of the companys products and services to provide technical expertise to customers and internal teams.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to ensure competitive positioning in the after-market sector.

• Customer Relationship Management:
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support.
• Collaborate with the service department to ensure efficient and timely resolution of service-related matters.
• Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Internal Collaboration:
• Work closely with engineering, operations, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of after-market products and services.
• Provide feedback from customers to the product development team to drive product improvements and innovations.

• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and service support.
• Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Assist in the preparation of bids and tenders for after-market solutions.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in after-market sales, preferably in automotive, industrial equipment industries.
• Strong technical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
