Job Description
We are looking for a Hardware Safety Engineer for electric powertrain component design.
The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:
- Definition of HW needs to achieve ISO26262 compliance in collaboration with the safety team
- Definition of HW safety requirements
- Definition of HW design for safety part
- Perform HW safety analyses (HW FMEA, Dependent Failure Analysis, FTA, FMEDA)
- Perform / support HW test activities
- Support reviews, confirmation reviews, functional safety audits and functional safety assessments on his/her own perimeter
- ISO 26262
- Tools (e.g.: Ansys Medini, DOORS) and methodologies for safety analyses
- Reliability computation
- Knowledge of embedded systems
- Multinational team working
- MS Office
- Atlassian toolchain and GIT
- Technical background
- Experience in automotive field
- Experience in electric powertrain products (e.g. BMS, Inverter, etc.) is a plus
