Job Description
As a Quality Engineer (Tester), you will be responsible for enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite, creating automation strategy, automated scripts and supporting data and environment configuration, participating in code reviews, monitoring, and reporting defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead the development and execution of functional test planning for software applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. - Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for functional and regression testing. - Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers on potential defects and areas for improvement.
Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in functional test planning. - Must To Have Skills: Experience in automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools. -
Good To Have Skills: Experience in performance testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. -
Good To Have Skills: Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience in defect tracking and reporting using tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in functional test planning. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. These positions are needed to be staffed through conracting mode only as there is no supply within Accenture. This involves working on OTT Platform, video streaming application development and testing. Testing has to be done with various types of TVlike FIRE TV, ROKU TV, Android TV, Apple TV
