Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical and electronic systems for various applications, such as power distribution, telecommunications, consumer electronics, and automation systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the technical and financial viability of electrical and electronic projects.
- Analyze and improve existing systems to enhance performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical engineers, software engineers) to ensure seamless integration of electrical and electronic systems in larger projects.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment, ensuring systems are functional and meet required specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and electronic issues , conducting root cause analysis and applying corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (e.g., electrical codes, environmental standards) and quality standards throughout the design and implementation process.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Test and validate designs , ensuring they meet industry standards, performance criteria, and client expectations.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source components and materials for designs.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements , continually learning and implementing new tools, techniques, and innovations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical and electronic engineering, preferably with hands-on design and implementation work.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and electronics , including digital and analog electronics.
- Experience with CAD tools for creating electrical and electronic schematics (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium Designer, PSpice).
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, PLCs, and embedded systems .
- Familiarity with signal processing , power electronics, control systems, and communication systems.
- Strong understanding of safety standards , electrical codes, and industry regulations (e.g., IEC, IEEE).
- Ability to work in both individual and team settings to deliver projects effectively.
Skills:
- Problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and electronic issues.
- Strong analytical skills to assess system performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
- Project management skills , including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Communication skills to clearly present ideas, reports, and designs to clients and team members.
