Senior Engineer / Project Leader

Project Design / Design change activities.
Interacting with vendors for sourcing of components and samples.
PCB design and fabrication activities with external designers / manufactures.
Specifying hardware and software requirements for external software developer.
Monitoring and assisting the software developer so that the project requirements are met.
Interacts with field application engineers if respective chip companies for understanding the functionality / application of the IC's used in the design.
Procurement of specific components.
Procurement of equipments for the board testing & bringing up.
To be responsible for leading a design team for product development from prototype to bulk production.
The range of projects would include development of sensors of various types (Inductive/hall effect.) for measurement quantities and microprocessor based signal conditioning and data converter circuits (primarily for measurement application).

Desired Background: Thorough knowledge of,

1. Electrical Circuit analysis, analog and digital circuit for measurement applications.

2. Performance of network components, resistors and capacitors and inductors in circuits.

3. Conversant with design and development of microprocessor-based measurement systems.

4. Knowledge of power electronics will be an advantage.

5. Ability to guide a team of engineers and co-ordinate efforts for successful completion of the project.

A minimum of 8 years in Electrical Circuit analysis, analog and digital circuit for measurement applications.
