Job Description

Creating basic designs andsupervising detailed designs in the field of low and medium voltagedistributors, E-houses and busduct systems;
Understanding technicalrequirements from specifications and converting them into appropriate basicdesigns;
Reviewing technical basicand detail designs;
Ensuring that installationsare designed and delivered in accordance with the specified requirements;
Planning project work andpreparing progress reports;
Managing and supervisingfellow engineers for detail engineering;
Proactively liaising withthe client and the sales and quotation team;
Maintaining financialstatus and preparing additional work quotations;
Organising and attendingfactory tests (FAT) with the customer;
Managing any sub-suppliersand Siemens factories;
Initiating and developingimprovement proposals;
Useyour skills to move the world forward!
Completed degree inelectrical engineering (Bachelor or Master level) with at least 8 years workexperience as a (lead) engineer;
Knowledge of low-voltageelectrical distribution boards, distribution boards, transformers andelectrical protective devices;
You are creative and ableto communicate ideas and inspire/motivate people;
Accurate, critical and havea broad technical knowledge and interest;
Flexible working attitude,practical and result-oriented;
Stress-resistant and ableto act within a pressured environment;
Excellent knowledge of theEnglish language, both written and spoken;
Livingin the Chennai region.
Working week of 40 hours.
