OHE Engineer-Electrical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled OHE Engineer to oversee and manage the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of Overhead Electrification (OHE) systems for railway and metro projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in railway electrification, traction power supply, and OHE infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, and execute Overhead Electrification (OHE) projects for railways/metros.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of OHE systems.
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations for electrification projects.
• Ensure compliance with railway safety standards, government regulations, and quality protocols.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, and signaling teams for seamless project execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to catenary systems, traction power, and earthing.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, reports, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in Railway Electrification.
• Strong knowledge of OHE design, installation, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, ETAP, and other relevant design software.
• Understanding of Indian Railways and international best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
