Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems for advanced industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have expertise in electrical circuit design, PLC programming, E-plan and team management, ensuring designs are safe, functional, and compliant with industry standards. The role requires a proactive professional to deliver innovative electrical solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems effectively, driving performance, reliability, and efficiency in line with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for advanced industrial machinery, ensuring adherence to company standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.
• Develop detailed electrical circuit drawings, wiring diagrams, and layouts utilizing AUTO CAD or EPLAN software.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs to automate various functions in industrial equipment.
• Select and recommend electrical components based on functionality, cost-effectiveness, and availability to enhance machine performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and design requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues throughout the design, manufacturing, and operational phases.
• Ensure electrical designs are fully compliant with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide regular updates and address any project-related concerns.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in electrical design within the machine-building or industrial equipment manufacturing sector.
• Extensive expertise in electrical circuit design, wiring, and control systems.
• Proven proficiency in PLC programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• High-level proficiency in using AUTO CAD or EPLAN software for electrical design and schematics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management, including guiding engineering teams through complex, collaborative projects.
