Social Media Strategist

ELAAR Immigration Consulting Inc. is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. You will create social media campaigns and manage the companys social media platforms. Your passion for social media as a communications tool will result in adopting and implementing social media best practices across all social media channels. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a versatile creative writer, and a team player. The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who will play a critical role in creating original digital content across various social media platforms. This job is only for those social media enthusiasts who know how to create a social media community, numbers of followers, engagements, leads and conversions.

This is a full-time remote position (40 hours/week). Its success is measured by organic traffic growth, engagement, lead conversions, and other relevant metrics.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop & execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform optimization, campaigns, benchmarking, messaging, and audience engagement.
• Generate, edit, publish, and share daily original content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
• Ensures brand consistency in copy voice, messaging, and all design work.
• Build the visibility of our companys social content with page optimization techniques on all social media and search networks.
• Communicating with social media followers, including responding to queries in a timely manner.
• Preparing regular reports on social media marketing efforts.
• Suggesting recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
• Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
• Join relevant online groups, social communities, forums, and conversations.
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record of delivering growth from social media marketing activities.
• Extensive experience writing copy for North American companies.
• Impeccable knowledge of North American English; perfect grasp of grammar, structure, sequencing, spelling, voice, and humour.

Skills:

• Ability to deliver original creative (text, image, and video)
• Must have wit and humour included in the writing style.
• Excellent social networking, tools, and platform knowledge and best practices.
• Adequate knowledge of SEO, CRO, media design, and UX.
• Familiarity with web design
• Analytical and multitasking skills

Education:

A university degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field is preferred.
