About the Role :
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Lead Pega Architect to join our team. You will leverage your deep Pega expertise to lead projects focused on designing, developing, and optimizing business processes across the Pega platform. This role requires a strong understanding of Pega best practices, the ability to guide and mentor teams, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Project Leadership : Lead projects focused on designing, developing, and optimizing business processes using the Pega platform.
- Best Practices & Solution Review : Review solution requests and designs against Pega best practices to ensure alignment with the platform's future vision.
- Methodology Development : Identify, develop, and document repeatable design and implementation methodologies based on functional requirements using Pega.
- Governance : Define, develop, document, and maintain governance for the use of Pega within the organization.
- Technology Roadmap : Maintain awareness of Pega concepts and the technology roadmap. Make recommendations for the Pega roadmap based on business needs and industry trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment to ensure corporate-wide settings and configurations are aligned with business requirements.
- Solution Alternatives : Suggest alternatives to custom solutions, promoting the use of Pega's out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities whenever possible.
- Testing & Validation : Create user acceptance testing (UAT) and performance testing plans to validate and support customizations, features, and functionalities.
- Design Review : Review Pega designs for existing and new applications to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to design guidelines.
- Code Review : Perform code reviews for Pega solutions and functionality.
- Proof of Concept/Value : Participate in proof of concept/proof of value initiatives with the Center of Excellence (CoE) architects as needed.
- Vendor Interaction : Connect with product vendors for product bug fixes and information on upcoming updates.
- Team Leadership : Lead matrixed teams of system architects, collaborators, and clients to solve complex problems.
- Communication : Communicate work status effectively and in a timely manner with other resources on the team.
Requirements :
- Pega Expertise : Deep technical knowledge of the Pega platform and its various components.
- Solution Architecture : Proven experience leading the design and implementation of complex Pega solutions.
- Best Practices : Strong understanding of Pega best practices and design patterns.
- Methodology Development : Ability to develop and document design and implementation methodologies.
- Governance : Experience defining and maintaining Pega governance frameworks.
- Communication & Collaboration : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership : Proven ability to lead and mentor teams of developers and architects.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Testing & Quality Assurance : Experience with creating and executing UAT and performance testing plans.
- Code Review : Experience performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
Preferred Skills :
- Pega certifications (e.g., Certified Pega System Architect, Certified Pega Lead System Architect).
- Experience with specific Pega frameworks (e.g., Customer Relationship Management, Decisioning).
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Experience in a specific industry vertical (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
