Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Build, Upgrade, Patch, migrate and maintenance activities for MSSQL, Mongo, Mysql-RDS, Postgres DB

• Configure and work on DR related activities

• DB jobs failure tracking and fixes.

• Able to handle several assignments simultaneously.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Mandatory skills: SQL Server, Goldengate, Oracle enterprise manager.

• Hands-on experience in implementing MSSQL and able to handle switchover and failover activities

• Core knowledge in Always On, Log shipping and Replication of MSSQL databases.

• Knowledge on provision MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres and MongoDB instances

• Expertise on Cloud (GCP/AWS) and RDS

• Praxis, Github experience

• Ability to handle databases which is having more than 3TB of size.

• Solid knowledge and experience of GCP/AWS/Azure.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field; and 10+ years professional working experience with MSSQL/MongoDB/MySQL Database Administrator.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• ITIL and Certification in MSSQL/MongoDB/MySQL and AWS/GCP is an advantage.
